Rutland
School of English is situated very near to the coast in Westbrook,
just outside the popular tourist resort of Margate. Both beach and
countryside are only a short walk from the School. There are also
shops and a sports complex within a few hundred metres of the School.
Margate
station, which is also very near the School, is on the direct line
to London and the journey takes about 90 minutes. Buses, which pass
the School, also go to London and to other cities, like Canterbury.
For inexpensive
shopping, Margate is close enough to walk to or you can catch a
bus or train to Ramsgate.
In summer, there are three lovely beaches nearby where you can sunbathe and swim.
